Shelton scheduled to wrestle on September 18th
Shelton Benjamin has been named as the replacement for WWE wrestler Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) on an upcoming Millennium Wrestling Federation (MWF) card promoted by John Cena, Sr.


Danielson was originally scheduled for the show on September 18 in Melrose, Mass., but re-signing with WWE caused scheduling conflicts with his independent bookings.


Danielson recorded a video with Cena, Sr. (in the video below) to announce Benjamin as his replacement in a five-way match that will also feature ROH TV champion Eddie Edwards.


Also on the card will be TNA wrestler Jay Lethal & former TNA wrestler Homicide, plus Iron Sheik and Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer) in managerial roles.

Bryan Danielson is still scheduled for the Northeast Wrestling show on October 1st in Waterbury, Connecticut which appears to be his last independent date. The show is advertising Mickie James vs. Awesome Kong, Shelton Benjamin vs. Carlito, Tommy Dreamer wrestling and an appearance by George Steele

Working Glory by Honor IX on September 11th with Shelton Benjamin: "I'm not only excited to be back with Shelton, but also being able to have the handcuffs taken off so we can wrestle the way we want to," Haas told Alex Marvez in a telephone interview. "We're going to work for a company that appreciates wrestling and wants you to go out and steal the show. You don't have to play political games. This is going to be a great match."

ROH Sells Out For Glory By Honor IX
ROH's next I-PPV is Glory By Honor IX on September 11th. The promotion got good news today as they learned that the Manhattan Center is now officially sold out for the show. The card is headlined by the following triple main event:


* NO DQ ROH Title Match: Tyler Black © vs. Roderick Strong
* Dream Tag Team Match: The Kings of Wrestling vs. Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas
* Tag Team Chain Match: Kevin Steen and Steve Corino vs. El Generico and Colt Cabana
