ROH tag champion Shelton Benjamin beat Claudio Castagnoli. Claudio dominated on offense for the bulk of the match, but Shelton got the pin after an overhead suplex from the top rope. Afterward, the WGTT and Kings of Wrestling brawled in the ring

“Supercard of Honor VI” Preview
Grudge Match: Claudio Castagnoli w/ Shane Hagadorn vs. ROH World Tag Champion Shelton Benjamin
Claudio tapped out…in Atlanta, Claudio tapped out and the nearly one year ROH World Tag Title reign of the Kings of Wrestling came to an end while the reign of Benjamin & Charlie Haas began. That is a fact that has not sat well within Claudio the past several weeks, and it was an anger he took to the UK & Germany with him last weekend. There, he & Chris Hero dominated in two tag team bouts against Takeshi Morishima & Atsushi Aoki one night and Morishima & Shuhei Taniguchi the next. Then Castagnoli took on Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Heavyweight Title and, although they battled for just over 20 minutes, Sugiura beat the former tag champion. Now Claudio has an opportunity to get a piece of redemption for himself when he takes on Shelton Benjamin in Chicago Ridge, while Benjamin has his first opportunity in ROH to prove himself as a singles wrestler and garner another victory over the KoW. Will it be the power of Double C or the pure athleticism of Shelton that wins the day?

ROH tag champions Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas will be in singles action on Ring of Honor's "Supercard of Honor VI" show on May 21 in Chicago.

Haas will face Davey Richards and Benjamin will face former ROH tag champion Claudio Castagnoli in separate matches.

Haas & Benjamin retained the ROH Tag Titles over the Briscoes on Saturday in Toronto. Their next title defense has not been announced yet

ROH Tag Team Champions The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) defeated Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly in a non-title match.

Both teams showed off some mat wrestling to start. Haas and Benjamin threw their opponents around the ring for the majority of the match. O’Reilly eventually got the hot tag and cleaned house. O’Reilly and Cole hit a double Superkick on both members of the World’s Greatest Tag Team. Shelton hit paydirt on O’Reilly for the win. Afterwards, Haas and Benjamin congratulated Cole and O’Reilly on a good match.
