First Time Matches WWE Fans Are Dying To See Shelton Benjamin vs. Tyson Kidd Benjamin and Kidd make for a very intriguing matchup. Both of these WWE superstars are athletic, talented, and gifted in the ring. Their ring styles are somewhat different, but similarities have been made between these two great athletes. It would be interesting to see a veteran like Benjamin battle against a newcomer like Kidd.

WWE Superstars Hitlist Shelton Benjamin vs. Rey Mysterio: I watch a match like this and I think two things. First, a great worker should always be able to get over. Mysterio is a great worker and a very average talker, but he is over. Benjamin is a great worker and a very average talker as well, but he just is not over. That leads me to my second thought; why won't Vince McMahon embrace the fact that managers should always have a place in wrestling. Great managers made average characters good, good characters great, and great characters unique. Benjamin could be a huge star with a mouthpiece.
As for the above...totally agree with it. Shelton would get over SO much with a manager. Everyone knows he has the skills in the ring...

Superstars Result - May 14th 2009 This week's edition of WWE Superstars opened straight away with Rey Mysterio making his entrance to the ring.
We are welcomed by Todd Grisham who is with Jim Ross and guest commentator John Morrison. Guess which of the three had their shirt off.
Rey Mysterio def. Shelton Benjamin with the 619 and Springboard Splash. The injury to Rey's knee seemed to come 3/4 of the way through the match that left him noticeably limping for the remainder of the match. Morrison peppered the mic with Benjamin insults during the match and the two got into it a little bit afterward. Morrison leveled Benjamin with a strong right hand.

WWE Superstars Results 5/7 Chris Jericho def. John Morrison with the Codebreaker. Shelton Benjamin's music hit and pyro went off during the match. He then appeared on the big screen and told Morrison, "gotcha." When Morrison turned around, Jericho was waiting to hit him with his finisher for the win. Prior to that point, the two men were having a very good match. Benjamin came out after the match and stared down Morrison from the top of the ramp.

Plotting a 'gold standard' course Considered by many to be the best pure athlete in the WWE Universe, Shelton Benjamin has an otherworldly ability when it comes to launching himself from the top rope. JBL Mentions Shelton Who are some of the guys in the WWE that you think would do well in MMA? Shelton Benjamin is one of the best athletes I have ever seen. I think he’d do quite well. A few years ago we had Kenny and Steve Blackman. Blackman could’ve done well and Kenny was a champion. Bart Gunn could’ve been a great MMA fighter if he had any training. Bart was a big tough guy who hit really hard but he didn’t have any training.
Does Shelton have any interest in doing MMA? I don’t know, he was a big pro wrestling fan and didn’t have any desire to get into it because it wasn’t as big then. Shelton isn’t old and he’d kill me if I called him that so I will say he’s old because he will get mad at me. He called me one time when I was Fox News on live TV and I had to answer the phone on live TV. He laughed as he watched me answer the phone on live TV like it was the funniest thing he’d ever seen. I love Shelton. I think he would’ve done well if he had pursued it.
