Match report – Shelton v John Morrison in Manila
7. John Hennigan (a/k/a John Morrison) defeated Shelton Benjamin to win the WWFX Title. Benjamin came out to a mixed reaction. I guess people didn’t like hearing him cuss during the press conference. Hennigan came out to a pretty good pop. Some chain grappling was used to start. Benjamin tried to get a fan ejected out of the arena to draw some heat. The crowd chanted “Morrison” whenever rest holds were being applied. After a few minutes of really solid wrestling, they did a ref bump right before Hennigan hit his Flying Chuck kick.
The crowd counted up to three but the ref was down. Benjamin hit Paydirt, crowd counted up to three, ref still down. Benjamin grabbed the title and smashed Hennigan with it. Someone who looked like he was either another lucky fan or just some random schmuck ran in with a referee shirt. He counted two, which led to a frustrated Benjamin to knocking the new referee out. Hennigan was up, hit a Tilt-A-Whirl into a Russian Leg Sweep and followed up with Starship Pain to win the WWFX Title.

ROH Tapings Results
3rd Tapings
Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin came out for a match, but then said they’d give an interview because Steen talked too long. (Not sure if that’s storyline or ad-lib.) They were to face the Bravados. Benjamin criticized the Briscoes’ fans. He said he was holding the show hostage until the Briscoes came out and granted them a tag title rematch. Enter Todd Sinclair… then Cornette, who pleads with WGTT that there wasn’t time. The Briscoes came out and the bell rang to start an impromptu match.
2. Mark and Jay Briscoe defeated Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin by DQ. Benjamin hit a Briscoe with a chair. The match was just picking up speed when Haas kicked a Briscoe out of a pin into a chair Benjamin held up. WGTT went strong heel here. Cornette fined them again. “It was worth it!” shouted Benjamin as he left. “I’ve got a lot of money.”

ROH’s Survival of the Fittest Result: Nov 18th 2011
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas defeated Jay Lethal and Davey Richards in a Champions Challenge.
Great match. Over 20 mins lots if action and near falls. Lethal took the pin while Richards was on the floor. The World’s Greatest Tag Team should turn heel and swap places with the Briscoes.
